Gingivitis: The Milder Form Of Gum Disease

Plaque and tartar that stays longer on teeth becomes more and more harmful as bacteria can cause gums to become infected and inflamed, the condition points out to gingivitis which is the early stage of gum disease. During the early stage of gum disease, the gums appear to be red, swollen and can easily bleed. But the good news is that gingivitis gum disease is milder in form and can be reversed with daily brushing and flossing as well as regular dental cleaning done by a dental hygienist. Luckily, gingivitis is a form of gum disease which does not include the loss of bones and tissues that supports the teeth.
