How to care your skin Once you suffer from diabetes

Many people do not understand that diabetes can actually affect every single part of the body including the skin. It is not uncommon for people with diabetes develop some sort of skin disease some 'time during their lives. Often the problems of the skin may actually occur before a person realizes that they have diabetes and may be one of the first symptoms. You can treat most skin conditions caused by diabetes if caught early, just knowing what to look out for.
Diabetes and other Diseases
Diabetes often leads to skin problems, and in particular a common area that is often affected is the foot. Between your fingers and the soles of the feet are usually the most affected. The symptoms you should look for include redness and a change of color, blisters and swelling. Semper check at least once a week and make sure the nails are cut efficiently and properly.
The main reason that suffer from diabetes to develop skin conditions that have reduced the sensitivity of the nerves and poor circulation. Necrobiosis Lipoid Diabeticorum usually appears over a period of several weeks and that tends to occur mainly on the Shins. Generally this is a patch plate, which is often a purple or yellow brown color and is a hallmark of the border. E 'possible for the skin to become thinner and his form an ulcer on the affected area to treat, although they may leave a brown scar. Usually this condition occurs only in a type of diabetes.
Bullosis Diabeticorum is a condition in which both small and large nodules are found under the skin. They are much like a blister and it is possible for them to break. Finally acanthosis nigricans is a condition that causes skin lesions as dark brown or dark black, to appear on the skin. This type of skin disorder is usually more commonly found in people of an African American or Hispanic background.
