Medicare Advantage Plans

While the traditional Medicare does not cover dental care routine; they could find a growing variety of private plans for Medicare. The private plans combine the benefits of basic Medicare coverage with additional health care and, often, savings in dental work, eyeglasses and hearing devices. The Humana plan, for example, pays 75 percent of the cost of examinations, cleaning and X-ray, 50 per cent of extractions and 25 per cent of the fillings. The private plan's premium costs the same as the traditional Medicare: 93.50 per month.
